Mr. Tian Yong is a young painter, who is good at representing Chinese folk customs with modern rich-color techniques. On the basis of Chinese traditional painting, he extensively absorbs the elite of Chinese and foreign modern art and gradually forms his own unique style in the exploration of richly colored paintings of human figures.
He not only has won many painting prizes, but also has successfully held personal paintings exhibitions in Germany and Canada.
Color is the most exciting visual language with the most powerful force of artistic expression. Young painter Tian Yong’s goal is to introduce color into traditional Chinese realistic painting in large amount and further breach through the traditional ideas of color and the pure decorative purpose of paintings. Tian Yong’s success lies on his efforts for keeping close relation with traditional culture on one hand; and on integrating the colors with Chinese folk cultural meaning, modern meaning and western meaning into his painting representations on the other hand. It forcefully clears up the expressing mode of traditional Chinese realistic paintings and creates a new artistic style full of senses of power and profoundness and with special folk cultural background. It is his wisdom that he sufficiently reformed and integrated the eastern and western arts.
