Chinese Opera Masks: China¡¯s prevalently known form of musical theater and drama. The Chinese opera has gained fascination by various people worldwide. It is a grand performance casted by several performers in vibrantly colored costumes moving along a swift and dramatic music. Most noticeably though, are performers or actors wearing masks¡ªChinese opera masks¡ªwhich are frequently changed throughout the entire performance.
Specifically, Chinese opera masks are used mainly in two known methods, either as painted on face or are worn as decorated ceramics or as think cloth. The inception of customary facial makeup began essentially from totems that were created centuries before. Consequently, the facial makeup eventually became known as facial paintings. facial paintings of the Song and Yuan
Dynasties, and eventually takes the shape
of facial costume of the Ming and Qing

Tibetan Opera Masks: There are two types of facial make-up in Tibetan operas. One is painting on faces, and the other is wearing masks. The mask, called "ba" in Tibetan language, is a unique facial make-up in Tibetan opera art. Its birth leads the ancient mask art of Tibetan opera from mysterious religious world to new and wide art paradise. The mask contains Wenba mask (fishermen or hunters mask), human mask and animal mask.
